Patent

The ATPase technology is protected by the patent “Method improving production of biomass or a desired product - by expressing an uncoupled ATPase activity in the cell” (International PCT no. WO 9810089) (Jensen et al., 1998), and applications have been filed for USA, Europe (EP), Brazil, Japan, and Australia. Fermenco ApS holds all rights to these patents.

Licencing

The ATPase Technology can be used for improving the product yield and/or production rate in industrial fermentations. The technology is universally applicable and is interesting for companies working in the field of industrial fermentation

Fermenco ApS aims to establish collaboration with major and minor biotechnological companies for improvement of industrial microorganisms in fermentation processes by the use of Fermenco’s ATPase technology.
